With the growing demand for installing EV chargers, they recognized the opportunity to position themselves as the preferred choice for EV charger installations. Wieser Electric partnered with Backcountry and Avenue Strategy to build a brand strategy and design a new brand identity. A new identity would signal a pivotal change in their service offerings and a new tone of voice.

We designed a new identity system that was bold, modern, and energetic, a significant change from their previous identity. The wordmark is modern and industrial. The bolt symbol, carried over from the previous logo, is completely redesigned to be distinct, forming a ‘W’ for Wieser. This symbol, commonly associated with the electrical industry, replaces “electric” to allow its name to stand out in the primary version of the logo. However, we created an alternate version for applications where the full name is preferred.

Blue, red and orange dominate the local electrical industry. To build further distinction, we traded red and blue for vibrant green, enhancing their new bold and energetic look and feel.
